Logan Cunningham joins Carolina Code School as Program Director

Greenville, SC - (Jan. 14, 2020) - Logan Cunningham has joined nonprofit Build Carolina as Program Director for Carolina Code School. The school, which is located inside the NEXT Innovation Center at 411 University Ridge in Greenville, was founded in late 2017 and offers courses in software development for adults seeking to begin new career paths. 

Cunningham earned a degree in Business Administration and Management from Clemson University in 2014. He comes to the role from the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greenville County, where he spent the last seven years as Program Director. 

“I feel grateful and blessed to begin my journey with Carolina Code School,” Cunningham said. “I have always believed in inspiring others, especially those within our community. The mission and purpose of Carolina Code School is unique and driven. As the new Program Director, I aim to inspire students from all demographics and backgrounds to be the best they can be.”

Cunningham is an avid runner and an Accomplished Martial Artist in Songham Taekwondo. He and his wife Lindsey live in Greenville.

“We are thrilled to welcome Logan to the team,” said Lelia King, Executive Director for Build Carolina. “As Carolina Code School has grown over the last couple of years, the possibilities for where the program could go have become clear. Logan brings a wealth of community involvement, career prep expertise and program management to the table and we are looking forward to a bright future.” 

Carolina Code School offers a much-needed pathway to employment in software development and serves as a key part of the economic growth of our region. To date, the school has graduated five cohorts of students who are now employed with companies across the region. The next available course will begin in April 2020, and applications are now open.
